Final week

Its my last few days here in egypt. I'm trying hard to get things done, before going back for good, but the list just keeps on growing. sigh, i'm such a last minute person.

I still haven't done packing, which i should have, like daaayyys ago!
I'm having a hard time trying to pack everything.
How do you pack 6 years of your life?? It is such a headache, since i'm a hoarder. I keep everything!

Well,
almost everything.
Its amazing, the things i discover while packing. Such a heartache to throw away stuffs, and some stuffs are just too heavy or stashed very high up somewhere *can't figure how it ended up there in the first place* or very fragile it wont stay in one piece in the cargo box.

I keep on wanting to pack everything, to bring home with me. Soo harrdd.

But its okay, its going to be fine, i'll finalize my boxes soon, verry sooon,
and insyaAllah, i won't miss a thing *repeats to self

I also have to spend my time with, the food that i love,

the places that i'm gonna miss

and the people i'm sooo gonna miss.

It had been 6 years, as much as i hate the crowded trams, smelly people on summer, dusty air, flying rubbish, annoying racist people on the streets, i'm still going to miss it here. After all i did spent 6 awesome years of medical school here. So far, i haven't done a quarter of my list.

So we're going to photoshoots after another, i don't think other people took as much pictures with their mortar board as much as we do. Since there's a chance we won't have a ceremony, i guess we'll just capture our moment here. So bear with me, i might bore u with tonnes of picture, soon.

Its gonna be hard saying good bye,

One very weird day. I fought for whats mine, and alhamdulillah its still mine. People can be mean. I'm just sad, that some people have the heart to do such a thing. I pray they'll turn over a new leaf, someday. And i'm thankful for everything i have today. I'll take it as a reminder, to never takes things for granted. May Allah ease everything. InsyaAllah.

Random small packages

U know those days when u woke up feeling sad?

Well, this is one of those days. I dont know what i'm doing up this late and not studying. I'm missing that sandwich i had for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Can't believe i've never gave it a chance before. It was suprisingly good. Maybe cause it is turkish.

I really love the 2lira chicken doner i had, back when i visit turkey in 2nd year, or is it 3rd year?. Don't know if i was just hungry, or it was really that good. Either way, i miss it. and that yummy waffle i had in Princess? Island.

Don't u just love, that very little thing can make u happy. Like when u just watched a very good movie, or had a very good meal, or when u got something u really wanted., or, just whatever, that makes u happy. I don't think online shopping gives u the same high tho. Just concluded my last purchase on taobao.com.

Don't know how many hours i spent there ogling at pretty dresses, and pretty models. Its made in china, but it looks pretty, and i have a birthday present coupon, meaning i can choose which ever (one) for my birthday from adik, so i figured why not. Tho that doesn't explain the other 3 dresses i bought.

Whatever,

its pretty.

Its really pretty!

So my current little thing is this very small musical candle that i got on my birthday. It sings happy birthday in english! It has a little on and off switch so u can conserve battery. I listen to it from time to time. Like a musical box. It was really cheap, 5le a piece. Plus u get another 3 cute candles in assorted colours. I absolutely love it! and no i didn't buy it myself, it was a gift.

I spent a lot of time trying to get that photo up, so i'm gonna go catch up on some sleep now. Nite.

Facial masks

So, today is mask day, after days of procrastination. The idea of clay mask freaks me out sometimes. It is supposed to pull out all the gunk stuffing your pores to surface. This would sometimes, or most of the time for me, lead to break outs. Which is why i never follow through with it.

Once i have the guts to try it, my skin breaks out --> i freaks out --> never used it again. Until i gathered the courage to try again, and the cycle goes on, and on.

Theoretically it would clean up our pores, and if used regularly will prevent breakouts. So, the bad part is just the first time. On regular use our skin will be free of whiteheads or blackheads, no breakouts, life is beautiful, and we live happily ever after.
This, is of course, theoretically.

I've tried a few, origins clear improvement mask breaks me out big time, i tried very hard to like it, but, no, it just wouldn't work for me, so  i have to hide it somewhere so i would never try it again. Very nice smell though.Tried to give it away, but no, my sisters wouldn't even use facial cleansers on regular basis.

Tried clean and clear, breaks me out too, but not as bad as origins' did. Tried kose, but i think its a different kind of mask.

Recently i tried Himalaya HERBALS, not really a clay mask, but its for the same purpose i guess, deep cleansing? . I think i like it. I'm using it regularly few weeks now. Very cheap too! Smells awful though, but no, cheapskates doesn't get to be choosy. I might post a review soon. I was googling for pictures just now, turns out there's a lot of other choices, but i don't think we have it all here in egypt.

Comfort food

Don't worry, i'm not gonna torture you with pictures of good food. This isn't one of those.

The buka puasa instagram pictures is driving me crazy. I just wanna pack my bags and go home! to the glorious mom-made foods. This is depressing, Larynx is soo hard, i've been at it for agesss, but i can't whine, cause people are gonna judge. I wish i can still go on about my day and bore you with the details and exaggeration, but comfort, is rare.

I guess it goes with you.

sigh,

i need to calm down, ice-cream will do. for breakfast.

Clinique turnaround overnight radiance moisturizer (review)

Hi girls!

I'm finally doing this review,

Disclaimer: This is an honest review of Clinique turnaround overnight radiance moisturizer
. I am not paid nor sponsored to do this review.

I think it had been almost 2 months or so, of using this, and i'm totally in love. So much that i thought i'd share the news with you girls, hee. It doesn't clog my pores, which is rare, since, even toothpastes breaks me out.

This product moisturizes, and exfoliates at the same time. Which is brilliant, cause i've tried a lot, and i figured, your skin needs to be well moisturized to shed off.

All the scrubs, peels, and scar remover wont do you any good without a good moisturizer. The dead skin cell is just gonna sit there and pile up, giving you dull and lusterless skin.

It is also gentle enough for daily use, i use it morning and night for radiance and glow, that i don't even bother to use a scrub anymore. I used to scrub everyday, but, not anymore :) I'm glad i'm over those days. Scrubing can go wrong sometimes.

Plus exfoliation really helps with my post-acne scarring and refines my skin textures. But you might wanna go slow initially, so that your skin can adjust to the exfoliation first. My skin exfoliates big time when i first use it, but it only sheds off during cleansing. So, don't have to worry about flaky skin.

I love this thing :)

Its just a moisturizer, not even a serum so i wasn't really expecting much when i got this. It was an impulse buy, since they have this on sale. I got this at almost half the price, plus lots of freebies, and i'm glad i did.

Definitely a keeper. I've tried a sample of Clinique even better moisturizer which i got for free, it was good, as a simple moisturizer, but nowhere near as good as this one.

The downside, is that its pricey, and smells a little weird, but it will go away eventually, i don't smell it anymore, doesn't really bothers me. I don't think its available here in egypt too :(

You can check out the ingredients at their official website, i threw the boxes off already.

This is how it looks like, gel-cream consistency, i think its oil free.

It gives a dewy finish that i love.

These are the freebies, we bought it from a very generous SA.
So generous, you feel less guilty about your impulse buy

might do a different review about them later, if, i have the time
